Make it rain

This activity (free!) came after we had a week of rain.

I saw this on a science website, and to be honest, it probably would have been better for kids a bit older. Here is what you do....

Warm up water in a measuring cup, put a plate full of ice on top and watch it rain-mostly it just misted.

Although this activity did teach Ty about the cooling of water and rain-mostly playing with the ice was fun. It evolved into melting ice

so at that point we pulled out some crushed ice, put it on a cookie tray and just played!
